Week 2 – New Endeavors

Dan the Man’s perspective on Week 2:

WOW, I can’t believe that week 2 is almost over. These days are flying by. Between our Og Mandino Scroll I readings and our Blueprint Builder, I find the days going by in a blink of an eye. I am actually looking forward to all my readings everyday.

The habit is being formed and it is almost to the point that I can’t imagine what my days were like without my daily readings. This is my time to work on me, something that I easily scheduled over often. How can I grow if I don’t make the time to do the work?

Jeanna’s perspective on Week 2:

One of my favorite quotes to meditate on this week has been from Part 2 of the Master Keys. “Thought is energy. Active thought is active energy; concentrated thought is concentrated energy.” Let’s think about this for a quick moment. As Mark had said, it is like our blood pumping and our hearts beating, an automated function. Thoughts come and go and how often do we not expend any energy on those thoughts? But then there are those thoughts that are all consuming. What type of energy are we giving those thoughts? Is it positive energy? Is it negative? That is what we need to consider when we are spend extended periods of time on those old thoughts that are getting us nowhere!!

The next part of that quote really resinates with me. “Thought concentrated on a definite purpose becomes power.” When I read this a loud, the passion comes flying forth.

Until recently, I didn’t get what this meant and then it hit me like a ton of bricks! All of that stinkin’ thinkin’ I have been doing all these years and holding on to, feeding into it, is taking away MY POWER! That charges me up! I have been killing my power little by little over the years.

Now did I realize it, yes.
Did I do something about it, well, yes, but it wasn’t with a true definite purpose. I needed to learn how to steer the ship to get on course. I needed to put the “Watchmen” on duty 24/7! I needed to take the time for me in order to realize what I have been doing to me.

OUR perspective on how we are doing:

Not only are we making time for ourselves during this process, but we are also making time for us. Life gets in the way of that way too often and until you concentrate your thoughts and efforts on a definite purpose together then the power you share is obsolete.

We still have a long journey ahead, but each step forward together is so much more POWERFUL than us staying stagnent in our thoughts and lives.

  • Amazing, Dan! Understand how that “moment of truth” feels when you realize…Gosh, what i have being doing to myself all these years. Blessed to be on this Journey with you)

  • My wife Aristia and I are taking it together as well, but she is a red/ruby personality and I am a green/emerald. she thinks in goals and wins, i get into the details. so we agreed we would learn this separately but practice as a united front… it is working great…
